So this is my year of walks...

Nothing fancy. It is exactly what it says it is. Over the next year, I want to take a walk every day. For an entire year. Hopefully, along my journey I can discover better health, weight loss, and a sense of direction and purpose in my life. And so my journey begins. On my way to a better me.

Walking today with Lynne Austin out on Dunedin Causeway. Catching up with an old friend (pardon the expression Lynne). We talked about that. Getting older. How it sucked that you can't keep up with your mental age anymore. And we walked...

We walked from bridge to bridge along the Dunedin Causeway on a beautiful cold, sunny Florida winter day.
Lynne gave me advice on the women's perspective of aging, and relationships. Free advice! Who can turn that down?

Very little time was spent talking about the past, and what we did. It was mostly about the now, and where we're going. Candid and refreshing conversation. And we saw this guy out there enjoying his time alone.

Nothing beats getting together with friends from your past. Thanks to this walking thing, I'm reconnecting and making the positive steps I should have made all along.

Walk on Lynne, walk on!
