So this is my year of walks...

Nothing fancy. It is exactly what it says it is. Over the next year, I want to take a walk every day. For an entire year. Hopefully, along my journey I can discover better health, weight loss, and a sense of direction and purpose in my life. And so my journey begins. On my way to a better me.

Walk 132 today was tough. I was doing a quick walk around the neighborhood, planned on putting in 1.5 rather quickly...

This was the halfway point of my journey today. I got up to the corner, made a turnaround, and about halfway back to the house... I heard it. POP! The left calf muscle tore again. Without proper warm up and stretching, and little to no hydration... this is what can happen.

And BOY did it happen today. But the journey will continue... it always does.
