Here I am at Manor Care tonight. This is where Dad is living for now while he tries to get better, and well enough to come home. We're all hoping and praying for him. We visit him every day and Mom NEVER misses a day.
So walk #246 centers around the grounds of Manor Care, and here is this Spanish Moss tree that is so alluring. The sheer magnitude of it's size can only be appreciated when you're standing right next to it. Which is what I went to do.
The first attempt at trying to take this picture resulted in a back scraping! The tree was farther away than I thought, and I fell flat on my butt and raked my back down the rough tree trunk. I still love trees though, and the journey continues...
